The conference center at Dunsmuir Lodge offers a positive, purposeful learning environment that is complete ~ tranquility, spectacular natural surroundings and easy access to both regional and global destinations, all facilitated by friendly and professional staff.
- Check-in on Saturday, July 12th, 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
- Supper at 6pm.
- Registration and orientation
6:45 – 7:30pm.
- Welcome & Intro 7:30 – 9:00pm
- Training
begins at 9 am on Sunday, July 13th.
- Lunch
on Saturday, July 19th is the final meal served.
- The
last day of the 7–day training will be Saturday,
July 19th, ending at 3:30 pm.
Please arrange your
travel to stay until the end to support the experience
of the whole community. If you are going to leave
before 4:00 p.m. on the last day please let us
know. We strongly recommend that you are present
for the entire training.
We expect a full enrollment and registrations are being honored in the order in which deposits are received. If you wish to attend this training, please:
- Complete the online registration form.
- Mail your deposit check as outlined on the registration form.
If your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email. If the training is full, your check will not be cashed - you will be notified that you are on the waiting list and, if you do not get in, you will be contacted to see if you would like the check destroyed or returned to you.
Please do not email or call to ask if the training
is full. Thank you for helping our registrar make
the most effective use of her/his time.
We request you read this form, fill it out and type your name at the bottom, to show you agree. If you have fewer than 25 hours training or assess yourself as needing more foundation level training in your NVC skills, please select the ‘Foundations” track on the registration sheet below.
Terms and Conditions
Tuition:
Early Bird Rate
(full payment RECEIVED by June 1, 2008): US$850
Standard Rate (to be paid in full before June 28, 2008): US$925
The
full amount of tuition, room and board is to be paid by June 1 to
receive the early bird rate and to secure your place in the group.
Lodging and Meals:
Many participants will prefer to share rooms in order to make most effective use of their financial resources. Please provide us the name(s) of the person(s) with whom you are planning to share on the registration form. If you do not have someone with whom to share, we can pair participants for room sharing.

Payment Information:
All payments are to be made in U.S. currency.
A minimum US$250 deposit will reserve your place; with the balance being
due before June 28, 2008. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when we
receive your deposit. All subsequent refunds are subject to a US$100
non-refundable administrative fee.

Please note, we will apply the following cancellation policy:
- If we cancel the training because of too few participants you will get a full refund.
- If you cancel:
- On or before June 14, 2008,
your fees will be refunded minus a US$100 US processing fee.
- On or after June 14, 2008, your fees will be refunded (minus the US$100 US processing fee) only if we can fill your place in the training with another participant. If we are unable to do so, you may apply these fees to a future training within the next year.
The full amount for tuition, room and board
is to be paid before June 28, 2008. I understand that if my fees are not received by DUE DATE, then an additional administrative fee of $200 will be due.
This seven day course can be applied towards the 30 days of training required as part of the process for CNVC Certification as a Trainer in Nonviolent Communication. It does not alone qualify participants for certification.
